When I was growing up, once I heard the “MASH” theme song and saw this helicopter landing, I knew it was WAY TOO LATE. Special thanks to Kyle at http://tvskyle.tumblr.com/ !!
I shall hang this upon my mantle!
Start em off early!
I call it the “Chicken Shit”©. It’s when you’re scared of being heard while doing your business, but you gotta get business done! And you look like a chicken while doing it. Thank you darrickbachman.tumblr.com for the suggestion! You da man!
Heeey.
I call it… The “Hula-Poop”©!!
There is some great storytelling advice in this interview with Brad Bird on KCRW’s “The Treatment”, most notably “The Burden of Expectation”, Relating=engaging the audience, be specific- being general is boring, and the “plausible impossible”. I could go on. A lot of great stuff in just 30 minutes. Enjoy!!
I loved the movie “Attack the Block”!! Here’s a peek at a caricature in progress…
Bolo Jeung from “Bloodsport” has some ginormous tittays. Fear him!!
Bolo Jeung from “Bloodsport”- one of my favorite movies!
Caricaturing Van Damme is tough, but I think I’ve figured it out. More to come!
